The first quarter saw a modest start to the year for the Northern Irish commercial real estate market, albeit a significant improvement on the £10m transacted in the same quarter last year. A variety of sectors were included in the £41m transacted during the first 3 months of the year, and in the context of local political stalemate and wider uncertainty as the UK misses the Brexit deadline it is perhaps unsurprising that the majority of this activity comes from local investors.
